- 12 oz fettuccine or linguine
- 8 oz smoked salmon, sliced into ribbons
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add asparagus and sauté for 3-4 minutes until bright green.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Whisk in Parmesan cheese and lemon zest until the sauce is smooth.
- Drain pasta and add it to the skillet. Fold in smoked salmon and lemon juice.
- Toss gently to combine and serve immediately with fresh parsley.
