Description

Crispy, golden-brown chicken wings cooked directly from frozen in the air fryer. A fast, low-mess alternative to deep frying that delivers juicy meat and crunchy skin.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs frozen chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Pat frozen wings dry with paper towels to remove excess ice crystals.
  3. Toss wings in a bowl with avocado oil until evenly coated.
  4. Add garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl and toss again to coat wings thoroughly.
  5. Place wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
  6. Air fry at 400°F for 15 minutes to defrost and begin browning.
  7. Flip the wings using tongs or shake the basket vigorously.
  8. Air fry for another 10-15 minutes until the skin is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 3 minutes before tossing with your preferred sauce.
