Description

Bold and zesty grilled white fish fillets coated in a smoky Cajun rub, served in warm tortillas with crisp slaw and creamy avocado.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs white fish fillets (mahi-mahi, cod, or tilapia)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage or slaw mix
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 limes, cut into wedges
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the fish fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
  2. Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil and evenly coat with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  4. Place fish on the grill and cook for 3-5 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 145F and the fish flakes easily.
  5. Place tortillas on the grill for 30 seconds per side until warmed and slightly charred.
  6. Place grilled fish in the warm tortillas and top with shredded cabbage and avocado slices.
  7. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top and garnish with cilantro.
