  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Blanch green beans in boiling salted water for 3 minutes, then plunge into ice water and pat dry.
  2. Sauté mushrooms in butter over medium heat until golden brown.
  3. Whisk in flour and cook for 2 minutes to create a roux.
  4. Slowly stir in milk and soy sauce, whisking until the sauce thickens.
  5. Stir in minced garlic and the blanched green beans until well coated.
  6. Transfer mixture to a baking dish and top with fried onions.
  7. Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes until bubbling and golden.
