Description

Tender white fish fillets baked to perfection with a rich, citrusy garlic butter sauce and a hint of paprika.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 white fish fillets (cod, halibut, or tilapia), 6 oz each
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels to ensure the sauce sticks.
  3. Season both sides of the fillets with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice.
  5. Place the seasoned fillets in the baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top.
  6. Place one lemon slice on top of each fillet.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
