Playful Halloween appetizers featuring hot dogs wrapped in crescent dough ‘bandages’ and served with creatively shaped cheese cutouts.

- 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 6 full-sized hot dogs, halved
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- Small spooky-shaped cookie cutters
- Mustard or ketchup for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll crescent dough and slice each triangle into 3-4 thin strips.
- Wrap each hot dog half in the dough strips, leaving a small gap for the face.
- Brush the dough with beaten egg and drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.
- Use cookie cutters to cut shapes out of the cheddar cheese slices.
- Place cheese shapes on top of the baked mummies and add mustard dots for eyes.
