- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 32 oz frozen tater tots
- 8 oz Pepper Jack cheese, sliced into strips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Brown beef and onions in a skillet, then drain grease.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup and garlic powder.
- Spread the beef mixture into a 9×13 baking dish.
- Layer tater tots on top in parallel rows.
- Weave Pepper Jack cheese strips into a lattice over the tots.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
