Description

A sophisticated, no-bake appetizer featuring sweet Medjool dates filled with tangy goat cheese and topped with a toasted pecan half.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 8 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 20 pecan halves
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Slice each date lengthwise to create a pocket, ensuring the date remains attached at the bottom.
  2. Stir the softened goat cheese in a bowl until smooth and free of lumps.
  3. Fill each date cavity with about 1 tablespoon of goat cheese, smoothing the top.
  4. Press one pecan half firmly into the center of the cheese filling in each date.
  5. Drizzle honey lightly over the top of the assembled dates.
  6. Sprinkle a small pinch of flaky sea salt over each date to finish.
